Q The Vacation believes travelers should understand business relationships that may influence or support our content and services. We make disclosures clearly and near the relevant recommendation, link, article, image, or video when context requires it.
1. Independent travel-agent relationship
Q The Vacation LLC is an independent travel agent affiliated with Legato Travel, LLC. QTV may receive commission from a travel supplier or host-agency arrangement when a traveler books through QTV. The traveler generally does not pay QTV that supplier commission directly.
2. Seller-of-travel disclosures
Legato Travel's public seller-of-travel registrations include California 2130335-70, Washington 604118560, Florida ST41147, and Hawaii TAR-7575-0. QTV uses applicable Legato credentials under its hosted-agent arrangement. Registration does not imply government approval, endorsement, or guarantee. These numbers and required wording must be reviewed whenever Legato provides an update.
3. Affiliate links
Some links may be affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, QTV may receive compensation at no additional cost to you. A nearby notice such as "affiliate link," "commissionable link," or a plain-language equivalent will identify the relationship when needed.
4. Supplier commissions
Travel suppliers may pay different commissions. Recommendations are intended to reflect the travelers' stated needs, budget, preferences, and trip goals. Compensation does not guarantee a favorable review or recommendation.
5. Hosted, discounted, or sponsored travel
If QTV receives a complimentary or discounted trip, room, sailing, activity, meal, product, or other material benefit connected to content, that relationship will be disclosed clearly in the relevant content. Sponsored content will be identified as sponsored. Receiving a benefit does not guarantee positive coverage.
6. Advertising
QTV does not run targeted advertising, remarketing, or audience sharing at launch. If advertising is added later, QTV will update its privacy controls and disclosures before activation. Advertising relationships will not be presented as independent editorial conclusions.
7. Reviews, testimonials, and opinions
Travel experiences are personal and can change over time. QTV content reflects the stated author's honest opinion at publication. Testimonials must reflect real experiences and may be edited only for length or clarity without changing their meaning. A testimonial does not guarantee that another traveler will have the same result.
8. Trademarks and destination content
Supplier and destination names, trademarks, and images belong to their respective owners. References identify the travel products being discussed and do not imply sponsorship or endorsement unless expressly stated.
